Marginalia Search

I find myself skipping the standard search engine and searching Reddit a lot, because I am interested more in personal experience than in the most corporate, established responses. If it's a tech question, the google (or duckduckgo, etc) response is almost never specific enough. If it's a product recommendation, like kid supplies, or favorite decaf teas, I want personal opinions. If it's a general fact I'm looking for, often Wikipedia will point me in the right direction. So Google is pretty unhelpful, a majority of the time. And I do not want AI in my life, so that's even worse. But Reddit is not where I want to hang out, so I am looking for search engines with a different approach altogether.

I found Marginalia Search (https://marginalia-search.com/), which looks awesome. It prioritizes long form and non-corporate content. I love that. There are cool ways to browse blogs to read, but I want to be able to search a term and find blog posts on the subject, and finding interesting blogs to read along the way is a nice perk. I like it so far! I'm interested to see how much I can avoid a standard search engine at all.
